We understand that root therapy can be a scary process, which is why we encourage consistent dental care. When a tooth has decayed and become infected, a root canal treatment may be necessary to retain the tooth.

If you are experiencing sensitivity or pain when you bite down, you need to get that area examined.

At Maitland Dental Care, we use our extensive knowledge and modern dental processes to gently remove the infection from your tooth, and fill it with a permanent sealer, so that the infection doesn’t return. This effectively returns your tooth to good health, and eliminates any pain or discomfort that you were experiencing before. Rotary endodontics as it is called, makes something like root canal treatment a pain-free, and relatively quick procedure that can be done in our offices.

Thanks to modern dental care, there’s no reason for you to be nervous about having a root canal treatment done anymore.

Arrive in good time for your appointments and, should you need to rearrange or cancel, please give at least 48 hours notice to avoid a charge.
Follow our instructions to care for your smile.
Attend review and maintenance appointments as advised.
Pay for treatments when requested; we accept cash, cheques and most major credit or debit cards. We also offer payment schemes should you wish to spread the cost of treatment.
