During an initial exam, we can talk to you about your smile and your concerns. It is very important that we discuss what kind of results you’re hoping to achieve. We should be able to tell you if Invisalign is suitable for you and what you can expect. We take an impression of your teeth and a set of photos and x-rays. These are then sent to Clear Align Technologies where a computerised 3D image (Clincheck) is prepared and reviewed. This is a virtual representation of what your teeth can look like once you’ve finished the treatment.
You will wear a series of aligners. Each custom designed aligner is worn for two weeks. The intervals between your appointments may vary from 2 to 8 weeks depending on your progression. You will see a change in your teeth as you progress through the aligners.
Once your Invisalign treatment is finished, bleaching may be used to brighten your smile and enhance your newly straightened teeth. If the shape of some of your teeth is not ideal due to previous damage from wear or decay, they can be further enhanced by the placement of veneers or crowns to improve the aesthetics and symmetry of your smile.

We Ask You
- Arrive in good time for your appointments and, should you need to rearrange or cancel, please give at least 48 hours notice to avoid a charge.
- Follow our instructions to care for your smile.
- Attend review and maintenance appointments as advised.
- Pay for treatments when requested; we accept cash, cheques and most major credit or debit cards. We also offer payment schemes should you wish to spread the cost of treatment.
